Book Illustration Workshop
Join in for a fun and creative workshop! Discover how books are made, and become an illustrator for a day.
You’ll draw, invent characters, and learn how to make your own 4-page book using prompts. Participants will learn and explore concepts like: theme/setting/main character and antagonist or companion. We’ll share our stories at the end — everyone’s welcome to shine! All materials are provided, but bring your favourite pens and colours if you’d like.
Recommended age: 7 – 12 (can also be custom designed for teenage groups)Time: 1.5hr Recommended class size: Normal school class size. Library setting: 15 (so there is time to allocate time for each participant)
